Hugh O’Donnell – Chair
Under Hugh O’Donnell, Clonmel-based engineering firm Kentz became a global player in the oil-services sector. He floated the company on the stock markets in 2007 moving on four years later. The Limerick, Ireland -based engineer sold 15m shares at the IPO, and when the company was sold to Canadian engineering and construction company SNC-Lavalin in 2014. O’Donnell’s Mac X3 investment firm is “committed to sustainable development of high-potential start-up companies and to the people who make it happen”.
Richard Mulcahy - Advisory Board Member
Richard has 30 years’ experience in the manpower industry. After extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Richard managed Swift Technical for many years, growing the company to become one of the leading international providers of manpower services to the Oil and Gas industry. Bolashak is privileged to be able to draw upon Richard’s knowledge of the international Oil and Gas industry. His success and experience as a high-profile executive in the service sector are great assets in developing and implementing Bolashak’s strategy for growth.
Michael Murphy - Advisory Board Member
29 years of experience in organizational development and strategy implementation.
Experienced in senior executive roles leading across global markets.
Working in partnership with multi-national, blue-chip client organizations, has delivered outstanding success in development, people and international culture in winning & establishing new business.
Geert Prins - Advisory Board Member
Geert co-founded Well Services Group in 2005 and has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has extensive experience in Well Intervention and prior to WSG held several international positions within NOWSCO and served as the General Manager Continental Europe position within BJ Services (now Baker Hughes). Geert holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Twente. As a founding owner of WSG, Geert’s focus on personnel development, equipment and process innovation, as well as delivering customer value has driven the growth of the business from initially a Netherlands based local company into an international operating integrated services company. Geert’s primarily focus is developing the strategy and delivering the continued growth of WSG Well Intervention.
Brad Mason - Advisory Board Member
Brad brings 35 years of progressive supervisory experience to the table in all phases of the industrial construction industry. He has built ServcoCanada by gaining a reputation of taking technically complex projects from inception to completion. The ability to streamline procedures that improve safety, productivity and control costs is something he has always considered a priority. Instead of the adversarial approach common in the industry that pits client, administrator, and contractor one against the other, Brad promotes bringing all of the stakeholders together, creating a strong and effective team.
OPERATING & COORDINATION BOARD
Paul Murphy – Executive Director
20 years experience in energy, pipeline and power sectors, operating as a senior executive leading regional business units delivering EPC projects, systems completions and commissioning service lines scopes on major oil & gas, resources and telecommunications programs in the US & Canada.
Andy Burrell – Executive Director
Andrew joined WSG in 2018. He was initially with Halliburton prior to becoming a Director/Owner of an Oil & Gas equipment rental company HSL, part of the OHS group of companies, providing equipment to well service and pipeline & process service companies globally. This business was acquired by Air Liquide in 2015. In 2016 Andrew formed ATAM Group in the UK, focused on new innovative processes for the Pipeline & Process market, a company that is now part of WSG. Andrew is responsible to set strategy and manage delivery for WSG Process, Pipeline & Industrial Services growth globally, increasing geographic footprint and diversity of services.
John Gordon – Executive Director
As ServcoCanada President & CEO, John brings leadership, tenacity, and an entrepreneurial approach to business. His career began in 1989 with a nine-year tenure at Stena Group, a large marine construction company. Over his 25+ year career, John has participated in large-scale, international projects in the energy and industrial sectors. He has the proven ability to successfully deliver outstanding results under testing conditions. Located in Kitimat, John is fully engaged and committed to building the Servco family in B.C. while always ensuring delivery of a first-class product, safely, efficiently, and effectively as is possible.
Reynald Reyes - Project Support Director
Reynald “Rey” Reyes is Novus’ director of operations for Americas. He brings 33 years of rich and diverse experience in directing, managing and execution of multi-facet projects in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Mining industry. Rey is an electronic, telecommunication and electrical engineer by profession, a professional engineer in Canada and holds a master’s in engineering management.
Neil MacArthur - Operations Director
With an Instrument & Controls background Neil has over 30 years of project experience across the Oil, Gas and Chemicals sector with a specialty in CSU delivery. The last 20 years as part of the Project Leadership Team on both the Owners and Contractor’s side on global mega projects. Neil is recognized as a safety leadership champion delivering projects ensuring safety and execution excellence.
John Guy - Project Director
John brings a wealth of industry experience from major downstream LNG, oil and gas production projects. With previous senior international appointments spanning 30 years John has held senior roles such as CEO, COO and Regional Director within the Middle East, Asia, Caspian and Europe. He has created high performing teams, delivering exceptional results within Health and Safety, operational performance and cultural development across multiple countries.
John Wingfield - Business Development Director
John has over 35 years international experience within the Energy sector and has held a number of field, engineering, management and senior management roles providing specialist pre-commissioning and commissioning services to support construction, start-up, maintenance and turnaround activities. The last 20 years being spent as a director and shareholder of businesses providing global process and pipeline services to oil, gas, petrochemical and LNG industries.
PROJECT DELIVERY LEADERSHIP
Nick Birch - Site Operations Manager
Nick has been involved in the Energy sector for over 35 years. He has held roles in international locations as Global, Regional, Country and Department manager. He is specialist in pre-commissioning and commissioning services to support construction, start-up, maintenance, and turnaround activities. The majority of the last ten years he has been focused on providing services to new build LNG super projects.
Nathan Medeiros - Project Support Director
Twenty years of experience in civil construction and general site services. Nathan is the backbone of operations in Western Canada as Operations Director for ServcoCanada. As a Kitimat local, his knowledge, experience, and network allow Nathan to be extremely effective. Nathan has been working directly on the LNG Canada project with ServcoCanada since 2018.
